We used them a few years ago for a move within Edinburgh. They totally underestimated the move, and the people sent were not competent (eg they rolled our washing machine down the tenement stairs, over its axes, as they could not think … More of another way to get it down!). They broke my daughters bed at pick up (we found pieces of it in the old flat) and when they hadn’t finished still late at night they called us, and demanded extra money to complete the move - of they’d drive off with our remaining items (including the beds so we’d have nothing to sleep on).After the move, when the items were broken, they refused to answer calls and didn’t respond to our email.I have used a lot of removal companies, always decent enough. This experience thought me to only ever go with companies that are registered with an appropriate organisation with evidence of commitment to basic standards.

I requested a quote for a small removal from London to Aberdeen, consisting of 20 medium boxes and just 4 small items (a wicker unit, a planter, a plant, and a small altar). I explicitly chose a part-load/shared vehicle option and offered … More total flexibility with dates to keep costs down by sharing the journey with other customers.To my absolute shock, they quoted me a staggering £1,295!This is an absurd and ridiculous price for such a tiny volume. The whole purpose of a shared move is to split costs, but they are clearly trying to charge for a full dedicated vehicle for just a few items. What kind of service is this? Totally unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Avoid them if you are looking for an honest or affordable quote.
